What a wonderful stay! This hotel is a step above, with a sleek and modern design, it's eloquent without being gaudy. Very clean rooms with friendly staff. We had a part on our vehicle break on the freeway and was a hazard since it was dangling on the road. The staff saw we were working on it and brought tools to help us remove it. They were so helpful! I absolutely recommend you spend the time and money here, it was a great experience.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and the staff I encountered upon arrival were exceptionally helpful and kind. I must give special praise to the restaurant staff; if you're dining or having breakfast there, you can expect outstanding service! I had the pleasure of being assisted by Glenda and Susana during my stay, and I must say they were incredibly attentive, helpful, and provided me with exceptional service during my breakfast. Hotel Citrine is a bright, fresh & innovative hotel in the heart of Silicone Valley. Tons of extras make this a standout in a crowded field of hotels. There is a "surprise" Citrine gift for guests. ===>. WOW FACTOR: Cool different "themes" on floors => 2nd = Potpourri => 3rd = Fresh loose leaf tea => 5th floor = Essential Oils PRO: - ALL staff is knowledgable & love this hotel & make you feel welcome (I love Sharon & Theresa) - Built in 2020 - it's about 2.5 years old - Housekeeping every day - Peleton bikes in 24 hr gym - Heated dipping pool - Close to tech companies CON: - Bathroom has a 15 minute. Unfortunately it turned off near the end of the shower - Not a cheap hotel in high season but it's very reasonable during down season SUMMARY: What a great surprise in the heart of Silicone Valley. A relaxing and whimsy hotel with the nicest hotel staff I've ever met! I can't wait to come back!

My wife thoughtfully booked a three-night stay at Hotel Citrine, nestled close to Stanford and Palo Alto. This wasn't just a getaway; it was a sentimental journey for me, a reminder of my youth spent on Page Mill Road, working alongside remarkable engineers and savoring the local culinary delights. The hotel initially met our expectations with its cleanliness and array of amenities. However, an unforeseen issue marred our experience. On our first night, we were jolted awake by relentless barking from a dog in a nearby room. We went to sleep around 9 pm and this bark, persisted from 10pm until midnight. Desperate for rest, I stepped into the hallway to locate the source and called the front desk twice from my cell phone, but to my dismay, no one answered. The following day, Christmas Day, we spoke to the front desk, they stated the manager is not available today and would be back on the 26th, when we finally were able to make contact with the manager, the day after that, her response was disheartening. She insisted that the front desk is always manned, implicitly doubting our account, as I had called from my cell. This insinuation that we might be fabricating the story was deeply upsetting. When she offered a complimentary breakfast instead of acknowledging the severity of our disturbed night, it felt dismissive. I declined, feeling a profound lack of empathy and understanding from her side. This trip meant more than a simple stay for us. It was a dive into cherished memories, a celebration of a journey taken with loved ones. The lack of concern from Hotel Citrine's management not only spoiled a special birthday celebration but also left a lasting impression of disregard. A little empathy and genuine care could have made all the difference. I hope the hotel finds a manager who understands this and can truly value their guests' experiences.
